U.S. Customs and Border Protection Digital Content Creation

Apple Designs provided consulting and design services, such as graphic and multimedia design, for the creation and programming of the airport’s first all-digital signage solution for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at Chicago O’Hare. After analyzing existing conditions and functionality of the previous static signage system, Apple Designs presented recommendations for implementing a dynamic system to improve wayfinding for passengers and visitors. We developed storyboards for the proposed dynamic signage information system as well as programmed multiple media loops that were uploaded onto specific monitors in key wayfinding decision points throughout the CBP area of the airport.
