Terminal B/C Long-Term Redevelopment Program

Apple Designs, as an AIR Alliance Joint Venture team member, was contracted to provide design services for the Terminal B/C Long-Term Redevelopment Program at National Airport. As such, we provided wayfinding and signage design services for projects such as the effort to Secure National Hall and the development of the New North Concourse. Previously, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) selected Apple Designs as the Master Signage Planning consultant for the original remodeling and expansion of Terminals B/C. During this effort, we designed and programmed a new sign system for the airport specifically created to compliment the unique architectural features of Terminal B/C. Additional projects at DCA have included directory map graphics; terminal signage Construction Documents and specifications; restoration of the historic main terminal, apron and service spaces, and curbside/roadway system; and B/C parking garage pedestrian (walking paths) and vehicular signage.
