Southwest Florida International Airport: Terminal Expansion & Renovation

Apple Designs created a new signage design and graphic standards for an updated signage program for the $275 million renovation including a 127,075 SF expansion to the main terminal building and modifications to all three existing concourses accumulating to an additional 200,000 SF of renovation to the terminal. Consolidation and expansion of the Security Screening Checkpoints (SSCP) from previous 4-lane checkpoints at each concourse to the new 18-lane central security checkpoint shortened passenger wait times and allowed for additional concessions, increased amenities and an improved passenger experience.
